The New Life!

I have enjoyed my permanent stay here in Denver,Co. I have met a lot of new faces and i found a job working for some women across the street. I love having my own room to have space to be independent. Denver's weather is beautiful and has no humidity. I also enjoy having my own basketball goal in the back yard so I can practice my jump shot.

I have already made friends with like half the Denver society of people. Mambo our cat loves going down into the basement. We call it his little man cave. There is a six flags in the middle of downtown of Denver which is cool. I am so pumped for the school year to start and for school sports to start up.

I wish all of my friends from Asheville could come down to visit to see the life I'm living. I'm very excited to live in a different state. I really like living in Denver because there are more opportunities for me leading up to my education. Getting my education is my main goal and I'm gonna accomplish it here in Denver.

"Bad hair day"

Today my moms tried to cut my hair. It was so bad in a good way that i had to go to the barber shop that same day. I mean it wasn't the worst try but i say they should try watching some more youtube videos.

Day #1 in Denver.

Today Antonio got a ride from Asheville to Charlotte with one of our friends, Allison Wade Frk. (thanks Allie, you are the best!!) Then he flies from Charlotte to Minneapolis, then on to Denver. This is first time he has flown by himself. He has spent the last few weeks with his good friend, Trevor Finley and his family. They are wonderful people. He considers them family. We hope to skype a lot with them and have occasional visits here and there with them.

I plan on getting him to write weekly about what is going on in Denver and what is like to live in Asheville his whole life, then move across country to Denver and live with us. He is a brave boy and we are so proud of him.
