Skate Boarding in Denver!

I really like to skateboard. In the past, I wasn't comfortable with keeping my balance on the board. Now I can ride without falling very often. I don't really have a favorite skater yet but I pan to find a gnarly skater.

I skate in Vans shoes because they are awesome and comfortable. I also like the color they come in. I really like the red ones, which I have right now.

I'm excited about learning new tricks. As I see other skaters who can do flip tricks (standing on the board, flipping the board over, and landing on it after the flip, for you non skate boarders out there), I got jealous. So I am think I 'm going to ask my little sis spencer breaux aka, smoothie to help me become an awesome skater like her.

Jobless in Denver.

I am so ready to get a job (beside my non paid corporate work study job at Arrupe.) As I walk by stores, I want jump up to buy something, but I can't. I dislike the feeling of not being able to get something I want. I am very hyper & eager to turn fifteen years old so I can start working.

I want to be a working teenager. I don't want to be someone who sits around playing video games & watching television. I want to be a teenager who explores the world and is motivated. When I get a job, all my dreams will be complete.

When I turn fifteen, I will be legally old enough to work. I have a birthday in September so I don't have too long to wait. When my b-day arrives I will find out where those "now hiring" signs are.

I would really like to work in a construction firm. I can move a lot of heavy items and I like to build things. I also like to use math when I am working because it helps me to solve problems.

Work Study Training at Arrupe High School in Denver, CO.

I learned a boat load of information I will need to be good at my work-study job. The corporate work-study program at my high school is exciting. I learned how to use a copy machine and a fax machine. The tools I learned to use in the work-study training are useful tools for my success.

The end of corporate work-study was just right because we had to take a quiz. The quiz was about all we had learned throughout the three weeks of work-study training. The test was about thirty minutes long & only seventeen questions.

The corporate work-study training was a nice experience for me. I got to see what some adults do for a living. Also, I got to see what tasks adults do if they work at an office. I am so excited to start my work-study job this fall.

Now I have three weeks off to do fun things before school starts. I am going to be a freshman! I am so ready for the first day of school this year. I really like the first and second day of school because they are just so exciting to me.

My freshman year!

I'm so excited about my freshman year at Arrupe Jesuit High School. The teachers are awesome and the students are cool to be around. All of the incoming freshman students have a summer reading assignment. I have to turn in a book report the first day of school. I feel like Arrupe is an awesome choice for me and it's like an anchor towards my future success.

My favorite thing about Arrupe is that I get to work in a professional environment. We have a corporate work study program at Arrupe that the staff has put together for us. This program is a way for high school students to get real professional work experience during high school.

I never thought I would have a professional job in high school!

I've been enjoying my summer reading assignment. I have to read a book and take notes on it. We got to choose from a list of books our English teacher picked out.

I hope we won't have to do a ton of homework this year.

new faces!

Recently at school, I met a guy I think will be my new best friend. His mane is Elisha. Last weekend we had a blast hanging out, and getting to know each other. I met his Mom, brothers and grandmother. I also met his two dogs. He showed me what an awesome friend is and I really like hanging out with him.

Elisha is a tight rapper. He knows how to make his own hip-hop beats online. His little brothers also rap and have rhythm. Elisha is confident guy and I am very excited that I met him at Arrupe.

Here in Denver I have met a lot of new people, and it already feels like I have a whole family. I am looking forward to the start of my freshman year in a few weeks & meeting even more new people.

Freedom!

I have currently made my way through a half week of being grounded. Now I know most of my blog followers think Antonio Timpson is trouble free but I just had a horrible day.

Now that I have my direct tv box back I can live life again. I really love sitting in my man cave watching tv. I'm so excited to have freedom again and now I'm able to go to the skate park.

I really love staying here in Denver, CO with two awesome mothers.

I know everyone is curious about which school I am attending this fall. It's Arrupe Jesuit High School! I started my work study training program there this week. Arrupe is great. I'm so pumped to start basketball and baseball season. I am so looking forward to my freshman year at Arrupe.

Denver's Fireworks!

wow! The fireworks are so beautiful in Denver. Meg and Alisa were so pumped to see the fireworks. We had to wait for a while, but it was worth the wait. I got about four recordings of the huge happening. The colors of the fireworks were all the colors of the rainbow and it was awesome.

I enjoyed my fourth of July. I saw a lot of beautiful girls walk by as I was looking at the fireworks. But let's not get off topic here lol. But I really do love me some Denver, CO Fireworks. I bet mambo the cat was terrified of the fireworks. The finale was pretty awesome on the other hand.

So to you awesome people reading this blog post I wanna let you know once again that my stay here in Denver is awesome.
